Their ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) care service in Morecambe is recruiting for an experienced and passionate Registered Care Manager to join their team. This is a full time position, offering:
- Competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

This position would suit an experienced registered manager, registered nurse, ABI specialist or Senior Therapist. The successful Registered Manager must have demonstrable experience of managing complex residential / rehabilitation services and coordinating MDT input.
ABI unit experience is preferred; however, experience of managing a residential care unit is essential.
The Registered Care Manager Role
As a Registered Care Manager, you will play a pivotal role, ensuring high quality person centered support is provided to all people supported in their homes, adhering to CQC requirements and other statutory bodies. You will initiate and implement professional, administrative home services and financial arrangements as well as training and care planning within the home. Key responsibilities include:
- Design, implement and review a package of support for each supported person which meets their needs
- Initiate a quality assurance system to assess and evaluate quality of care provided to service users
- Carry out Health & Safety Risk Assessments i.e. COSHH, RIDDOR, PPE
- Fully comply with the requirements laid down by the Health and Social Care Act 2008
- Abide by and ensure all staff abide by the code of conduct and practice as set out by the GSCC
