Regional Training Officer
Your new role
Reporting to the Development Officer you will responsible for delivering mandatory, induction and refresher training across the region on a variety of subjects. You will work closely with key internal stakeholders to identify and deliver training which meets both individual and group needs. Supporting the wider company training plan you will ensure specialist training and apprenticeship programmes are facilitated across the region. Monitoring training efficacy and compliance will be a key area of responsibility, ensuring it meets the developing needs of the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be an experienced Trainer, ideally having experience within the healthcare sector, although not essential. You should have a minimum of 3 years training delivery experience, across classroom, 1-1, small group and e-learning solutions, and experience of coordinating and planning training activity.You will need strong IT skills, including Excel.
You will need PTLLS/DTLLS/CTLLS or equivalent training qualification, and be willing to attain any further relevant qualifications. It would be beneficial to have train the trainer qualifications in moving and handling, first aid, NAPPI, health and safety or safeguarding.
The role has regional responsibility so you will need to be prepared to travel, and you will also need to travel to head office and participate in group wide training activities when required, which may require overnight stays occasionally.
