Regional Senior HR Advisor

Role - Senior HR Advisor - Regional position

Location - Field based (Office location in Dartford)

Salary - £35,000

Full time, permanent

Hours - 7.30am - 5pm

My client is looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to manage 18 branches across the South East region.

The Role:

•Advise on and interpret HR policies, practices and procedures for manager, supervisors and employees
•Support line managers in the recruitment and selection process ensuring we hire top talent for the business.
•Advise managers on the disciplinary and grievance process and attend hearings with the relevant manager if required
•Lead disciplinary and grievance investigations when required
•Supporting change management initiatives
•Lead, manage and participate in key HR projects across the business
•Advise on procedure and assist managers in dealing with employees with long term absence, including home visits and return to work interviews
•Be responsible for key communication activities across the business that drive employee engagement, reinforce the vision through appropriate company-wide communication
•Lead the implementation of updated HR policies and procedures
•Work with HR Manager in effective implementation of annual salary and bonus reviews
•Deputise for HR Manager when appropriate
•Manage, and support HR Advisor in dealing with, complex employee queries/issues (personal and work related)
•Produce and interpret monthly KPI reports

Experience and Attributes:

•In-depth knowledge of employment legislation
•Focus on providing quality customer services through HR Functional Excellence
•Ability to use own initiative and judgement for timely decision making and works well under pressure
•Strong persuading and influencing skills and ability to give feedback to all levels of employees/managers
•Good problem solving skills
•High level of integrity
•Formal presentation skills
•High level of accuracy, numeracy, attention to detail and PC literacy
•Strong team player
•Project management skills
•Good business acumen/commercially aware
•Experience in at least 80% of the above activities essential.
•Qualified to Diploma or Degree level or relevant equivalent experience.
•Working towards or obtained the CIPD professional accreditation essential
