I am pleased to be representing a leading pump and rotating equipment manufacturer that turnover circa £130 million across Europe. They are specialists in providing turnkey solutions for the water, dredging, aggregates, process and industrial markets. The manufacture and design pumps, valves, crushers, screens and other related products as well as providing service and maintenance across their customer. My client boast a leading range of brands within their portfolio of products and are now looking to develop the customer base across the South East of England, even further.
Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities
As regional sales manager you will be responsible for managing and developing all existing accounts across the area as well as a regional distributor. You will be tasked with handling all enquiries and projects across the region with an emphasis on quality client visits to provide solutions for the given application of the products. The role will be home based with interaction with the two UK manufacturing facilities.
The successful regional sales manager will ideally have pump, rotating equipment, gearbox, and compressor sales related experience and have occupied an customer facing position for over 4 years. Typical roles you may currently or previously be ding include, technical sales engineer, sales manager, business development manager or key account manager. You will have a good understanding of technical sales and customer specification and be able to confidently communicate with customers.
The region consists of Bedfordhsire, Northamptoshire, Essex, Sussex, Greater London, Kent and surrounding areas so ideally you will be based from some of the following areas; Colchester, Reading, Maidenhead, Watford, Luton, Farnborough, Maidstone, Milton Keyes, Crawey or surrounding areas.
There are great long terms prospects with this rapidly growing manufacturer vertically into management or horizontally into other areas of the business.
