We are looking for a proactive and dynamic International Sales Manager with a solid technical background, to join a growing electronics manufacturing organisation based in Bedfordshire.
This is a new position for the business. The International Sales Manager will be responsible for hands-on sales and business development of all product lines, within a designated territory (likely to be the Far East, USA and possibly parts of Europe).
Working alongside other members of the Sales Team, you will be based from the Bedfordshire office but you will typically travel 30-50% of the time. This organisation has a long-standing global presence, selling capital equipment and instrumentation to the electronics manufacturing sectors worldwide. You will be responsible for maintaining and growing sales through a network of international distributors.
You must have a technical sales background and a general understanding of engineering principles; however a specific knowledge of instrumentation technology is not essential.

To be considered for the role of Regional Sales Manager you need a relevant technical background such as electronics or mechanical engineering, together with the following skills/experience:
- A proven track record in strategic sales management across the globe
- Technical sales background such as high-tech instrumentation, industrial automation, or electronics
- A strong interpersonal communicator & negotiator
- Experience of strategic business development and commercial awareness
- The ability to accurately target and approach new customers and produce quotes
