My client is a world leading manufacturer of high-technology medical systems used in hospitals across the world. They are a market leader in many of the sectors they operate in and have an enviable reputation for quality, manufacturing excellence and product innovation. As part of their continued expansion in Europe they now wish to hire a Regional Sales Manager to cover the North of England and Scotland.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for sales of my client’s systems into hospitals and other medical facilities in the specified region. Supported by a presales technical consultant, the Regional Sales Manager will target both existing and new customers and build up a pipeline of sales activity. He or she will manage quotations and product demonstrations as well as ensure that all opportunities are reported internally and logged with the CRM system. The equipment is high value and complex so strong communication skills are required to manage a wide range of client stakeholders including clinicians, finance and managerial teams.
The successful candidate will have experience of selling capital equipment into the NHS and private healthcare providers. The role is home-based and so demands a self-starter with the discipline and rigour to effectively manage their territory. Applicants need to be strong communicators and have some commercial nous. Specific product experience isn’t required as training will be given and technical support provided. Above all we are looking for enthusiastic team players able to add their skills to an already high-performing unit.
