This is an internally based sales role. Working 5 days in the office, hours of work are 8.30 till 5.00pm (Monday -Thursday) 8.30 -4pm (Friday)
This is a split role between account management, telesales and Customer services
You will be looking after an existing account base that you will be contacting on a daily or weekly basis
50 % of the day will be spent taking incoming calls from existing customers and dealing with any queries or orders via SAP, up selling wherever possible and introducing the seasonal products, the other 50% of your time will be making outbound calls to gain new business, whether that’s to lost or lapsed accounts from the CRM system or from data from the marketing team. You will also be leasing with the Field Based sales team picking up leads and arranging appointments.
There will be lots of potential to up sell within the existing client base. You'll be dealing with the decision maker of the business this can be anybody from the head chef, manager, buyer, and owner. At a an local, regional and national level.
Market:, The customer base is vast and includes Michelin-starred and other restaurants, hotels, catering establishments such as company canteens, hospitals, schools, universities, military facilities, prisons, senior citizen homes, and fast-food chains, caterers, supermarkets, butchers shops, as well as, increasingly, bakeries and snack outlets
You will also be dealing with wholesale and distribution partners as well as head office on a daily basis

Background: Catering/Chef Background preferred ideally with some Sales /Sales admin or a customer service background
Qualifications: - catering NVQ or 706/1
Personality: Eager, Keen, enthusiastic, willing to learn, competitive, drive, bubbly attitude career minded
Basic: between 20K - £23K OTE: - realistic £4K -7K 1st year Uncapped
