You will be supporting the end-to-end recruitment of live roles for Service Centres including sourcing and screening candidates, conducting candidate interviews, managing offers, and managing the onboarding process for all new starters ensuring a positive journey.

What you'll be doing

As the Regional Recruitment Officer, you will be liasing between the depots and the central resourcing team to discuss any recruitment challenges or successes both service centre managers and resourcing advisors are having. You will be working across the North West and Midlands area which will consist of 11 depots. You will support the depot with face to face or telephone interviews ensuring all candidates fully understand the position and have the required employment documentation. In addition, you will be responsible for the below duties:

• Be responsible for the effective management and delivery of the recruitment process ensuring procedures are followed in a timely and efficient manner
• To act as a point of contact between the central resourcing team and the depot to ensure both parties have a clear understanding of current live vacancies
• To ensure all vacancy information is captured and reported accurately within the Ops Recruitment Tracker
• Be proactive and support with contacting potential candidates within the pipeline to discuss roles available at site
• Provide feedback following interviews completing the candidate journey
• Ensuring that the internal ATS system is updated following all interviews
• Provide insight to hiring managers on talent pool, competitor information and market challenges
• Responsible for distributing marketing material both internally and externally where applicable
• Deliver an outstanding candidate experience and on-boarding for all successful candidates whilst maintaining a positive employer brand experience
• Communicate with new hires before their start date to provide necessary day one information (e.g. shifts patterns and induction)
• Ensure all right to work documents and new starter forms have been returned and uploaded to Talent Link and shared with HR & Payroll
• Ensure induction has been booked with the appropriate department
• Ensure all uniform, PPE and any equipment required for the role has been ordered and ready for day one
• Conducting regular check in calls with new starters to ensure they have settled into their new role.

What you need to show us

The successful Regional Recruitment Officer will be working in a recruitment role and have strong organisational experience. You will need to travel around multiple depots so having a full driving licence and access to a car is essential. The below skills/experience is ideal for this role:

• Recruitment experience working within a fast-paced business
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise tasks
• You'll be a confident communicator, love speaking to people and will be able to build effective relationships
• You'll enjoy working in a busy and dynamic environment and working at pace to deliver results
• Highly organised
• You'll also be comfortable working with MS Office and able to pick up using our internal systems too
• Confident using Microsoft Excel.
