Regional Operations Manager- Catering
Circa £30,000 +company car/fuel card
Our client is currently seeking a service delivery manager to manage and oversee a team of four area managers in the delivery of catering practises to their customers. They/you will have to ensure that the catering services meet or exceed expectations set.
An ideal candidate with have excellent teamwork skills and be able to form strong links with senior regional directors and account managers. As well as this they must contribute positively to the business and seek to increase growth, customer satisfaction and profitability.
This is a regional role covering the Tameside region so a candidate must be prepared to travel and own and full, clean drivers license.
Key responsibilities:
•Support the Account Manager in the safe and efficient operation of the Catering service across the Tameside region
•Overall responsibility of providing catering services working through a team of four Area Managers
•Engage with the local clients to ensure good working relationships are established
•Clear communication and delivering of the operational standards in line with our policies
•Adhere to agreed targets (with Account Manager) to control expenditure
•Manage and develop staff to better perform their respective roles and to be able to advance within the service
•Manage a team of four Area Managers to ensure that school catering teams adhere to standard operational practices, with menus and standardised recipes, according to quantities required to agreed standards for customers
•Work with the central support team to develop and implement marketing initiatives to increase meal uptake
•Review monthly catering audits and monitor the completion of ensuing actions
•Review catering risk assessments and ensure COSHH data is available and up to date
•Organisation of all hospitality requests for the sites where required
•Promote and maintain our values
•Encourage opportunities for innovation and efficiencies in line with Account Manager
Skills and experience:
•Evidence of managing a team to provide high quality services
•Strong all-round communications skills
•IT literate
•Team player
•Focused and motivated attitude
•Experience in catering/hospitality industries (desirable)
•Full, clean Driving license (essential)
