Regional Operations Director Social Care

Regional Operations Director £70000 + car allowance North of England Health care agency


  • Support the creation and submission of tenders within the north of England

  • Assume ownership for the operational implementation and development of acquired contracts

  • Strive to achieve and exceed agreed business targets

  • Sales management of franchisees to deliver growth targets

  • Regular and documented sales contact with contracts officers, directors and all potential business purchasers within their defined territory

  • Motivate and direct company owned branch managers to achieve and exceed sales targets

  • Take defined product lines (including generic home care and speciality) to purchasers and deliver niche sales targets


  • Ensure the profitable delivery on all new business

  • Ensure operational efficiencies within the designated territory

  • Managing company owned cost structures to deliver target EBITDA

  • Manage, motivate, develop and mentor company-owned managers to meet and exceed agreed set targets


  • Gain sales knowledge of all service line features and benefits and method of delivery.

  • Monitor performance against targets (using KPls)


  • Regular, simple weekly reporting of performance.

  • Monthly team performance review

  • Basic HR reporting


  • Proven record in sales with demonstrable sales skills
  • Experience in preparing and delivering presentations
  • Proactive business development skills
  • Excellent communication skills Excellent writing skills


  • Understanding of social care legislation
  • Experience in operational management within a multi- location service industry business
  • Experience in the social care sector
  • Process driven Focus on delivery
  • Experience in health care sector
  • Working knowledge of the Government's Health and Social care strategic agenda
  • IT literate including MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
  • Working knowledge of tendering / procurement processes
