My client a leading professional membership body is currently looking for a Regional Membership Engagement Officer for 3 Days a Week (21 Hours), home based covering Wales & the East & West Midlands.
This important role is an integral part of the membership team, with a focus on member recruitment, engagement and communication. The Regional Membership Engagement Officer acts as the primary point of contact between their regions and the Institution’s staff in London. They work with the volunteer members on the Regional Committees to ensure that the members are supported locally and that new members are encouraged to join.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Wales, the East and West Midlands.
This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, good spoken and written English and the ability to communicate and build relationships with a range of stakeholders, at all levels, and an understanding of member engagement and working with volunteers.
In addition, the post holder will need an understanding of data protection and handling confidential data appropriately, as well as good organisational skills and an eye for detail. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and the ability to work constructively and productively as part of a busy team. This role requires travel within the UK, some of which may require overnight stays. A willingness to do this is essential.
Ideally you will hold a degree, or an equivalent qualification, and be able to demonstrate IT skills including use of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and experience of using a CRM system.
