Amazing opportunity I am currently looking for a Regional Manager for a large national children's charity based in the West Midlands with the possibility of working from home up to 2 days a week.
This exciting 3-month vacancy will be to provide leadership, management and accountability for up to 8 direct reports who are responsible for a range of community-based children's services within the designated geographical areas. This includes the performance management of procured services to contractual specification and requirements, within organisational systems, policies and strategic direction.
To promote the continuous improvement across all your portfolio services to ensure the very best outcomes for children, young people and their families.
To plan, lead and implement change across your portfolio of services in response to internal and external initiators for change.
To represent the organisation in contract negotiations and inter-agency networks and identify business development opportunities.
To manage the delivery of a programme of Children's Services contracts that are compliant with quality safeguarding practice.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent with a professional qualification in the children's social care field such as Social Work, Community Health, QTS, NPQICL. Along with Evidence of significant professional experience of managing interagency services for children, young people and families in their communities, preferably including Children's Centres.
You will have experience working with partners and stakeholders in multi-agency operational and strategic forums for prevention and other appropriate services to children and young people in a local community setting.
It is essential that you have knowledge of The Children Acts of 1989 and 2004 and United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, Child protection and safeguarding issues, including Safeguarding and Child Protection policies, procedures and systems.
