Your new role
The purpose of the role is to be a dynamic and innovative partner who strategically influences the leaders in delivering value to the business. This will be through establishing a deep understanding of the key business drivers and by providing focus and drive on future strategy, resulting in effective organisational solutions. This role is a regional role covering Sussex and some Kent locations. Essentially you are homebased and manage your own diary to be out and about in the business. The base salary for this role is up to £45,000 plus £6,500 car allowance plus 20% which has paid out year on year.

You will be fully embedded into the senior management teams of the local area, this organisation's HRBP's work across the different business functions, ensuring effective solutions to all aspects of the employee life cycle within their business units. As a credible partner you will influence, shape and drive the people agenda working closely with and drawing upon the expertise of all other areas of HR to ensure innovative people solutions.

As part of this role you will need to create a shared understanding with the key stakeholders about the strategic input that HR can have on the overall business unit, alongside understanding the impact of that strategy, and drawing upon expertise from relevant areas to support the delivery of the strategic agenda.

Another important aspect of the role is to develop deep and impactful relationships with stakeholders to be able to understand and identify personalities, preferences and team dynamics across the business unit. You must also be willing to facilitate high performing team development through the identification of needs, participation in team training days and actively foster an environment of learning and development in conjunction with people development team.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for this role, we require candidates to have Chartered Membership of the CIPD or working towards it. A coaching qualification and/or coaching experience would be an advantage. Experience in a HR generalist role ideally within a unionised and regulated environment is required. Must also be able to give clear examples of how their experience meets the four key competencies of Delivery, Adaptability, Influence and Thought.
