A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Regional ER Specialist to join an amazing private sector business covering the South West. This role is predominately at home with some travel in your region expected covering Gloucester, Bristol, Exeter and Somerset This company is offering great benefits, fantastic career progression opportunities and a fantastic work culture! The ideal candidate will have extensive case management experience.

What you will be doing?

*Work with the ER team supporting ER Queries from both management and employees.

*Manage own ER caseload including high risk, complex cases

*Providing advice on employment law and company policies and procedures.

*Provide support and advice to managers on short- and long-term absence, including attending sickness absence reviews, welfare and capability review meetings.

*Providing advice to managers and coaching on referrals and subsequent actions.

*Providing advice on rehabilitation programs to line managers and employees

*Advising on authorised absence queries, including maternity, paternity, adoption and supporting relevant processes.

*Challenging and coaching managers where necessary.

*Advising and coaching managers on the discipline and grievance process in accordance with company procedures including dismissal cases.

*Maintaining a good working relationship with Trade Unions.

*Analysing trends in relation to ER issues in order to proactively deliver training as and when required.

*Support stakeholders on organisational design including OD business cases as and when required including Redundancies, Restructures, TUPE processes through to completion

What we are looking for?

*Demonstrable experience of dealing with an array of complex ER issues ideally in an ER focused role

*Degree level education or equivalent, CIPD or MCIPD or Employment Law qualification

*Good Knowledge of UK employment legislation.

*Exceptional stakeholder management and business partnering.

*Delivery to deadlines and data management and reporting.

*Ability to work proactively across the business and HR function with minimal intervention.
