Regional Director - Scotland

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Regional Director, covering Scotland, to join a highly reputable, established and rapidly expanding Domiciliary Care Business.  You will be working with a fantastic company who promote from within and encourage staff to reach their full potential.

As a Regional Director, you will report into the Managing Director and take overall operational and commercial responsibility for all aspects of City and County Healthcare Group’s activities within Scotland.

As a key senior manager, the Regional Director sits on the Group Operations Board and thus has a shared role with other members of the senior management team for the general strategic direction of the group.

Furthermore, as a senior manager, the Regional Director is expected to inspire, motivate and lead all those under their line management, which includes Regional and Branch Managers, local office teams, and care workers. This entails leading by example by giving effect to the group’s stated corporate values and behaviours in all aspects of their work.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivery of budgeted growth and cash collection expectations.

  • Management of financial targets, including profit and loss accountability.

  • Implementation and monitoring of clear performance targets, both quantitative and qualitative.

  • Delivery of growth through existing and new markets.

  • Provision of key performance indicators and a comprehensive monthly report to the Chief Executive and Board.

  • Delivery of high quality, contractually and statutorily compliant care services across a wide portfolio, including home care services, Extra Care, complex care and supported living.

  • Management of serious complaints and grievances.

  • Delivery of continuous quality improvement, particularly in respect of regulatory compliance.

  • Direct line management of regional managers.

  • Indirect line management (via the line management hierarchy) of all group and operating company employees within the region.

  • Involvement as required in management processes (e.g. disciplinary, grievance, redundancy).

  • Promote anti-discriminatory practice.

  • Protect the confidentiality of service users and of the business.
