Our client, one of the largest humanitarian organisations are seeking a Regional Development manager based in the North to manage a team of street, private sites or door to door fundraisers in a variety of different locations. This role can be based at any location, ideally in Scotland however you will be setting up sites across the North.
This is a really important and crucial role and therefore you will have previous experience as a Fundraising manager and managed successful multiple sites.
You will lead from the front, recruit, motivate, train, develop and manage the regional in-house managers and fundraising teams to excel in their own performance; generate new regular givers, creating a high performing team environment where staff are inspired to give the best experience, exceed expected KPI's and grow in line with their ethos and identity.
For this post, you will have a strong knowledge of face to face or dialogue fundraising techniques and a strong working knowledge of street, private sites or door to door fundraising. You will also have staff management experience; including recruiting, coaching, training, retaining staff by developing and motivating people to achieve set objectives. You’ll also have the ability to give clear instructions, make difficult decisions.
