Regional Contract Operational Manager

CRG Medical Services is recruiting for a Regional Contract Operational Manager to support the management of the Derbyshire, Essex and UKBF contracts on a day-to-day basis, ensuring the services provided by the Company to the customer are contractually compliant.

Duties include:

  • Ensuring service delivery follows appropriate codes of practice and protocols
  • Establishing and maintaining close liaison with staff, customers and key stakeholders
  • Ensuring local processes comply with national clinical governance standards
  • Acting as the on call senior manager as a part of the SMT
  • Providing clinical expertise and advice to the National Operations Manager
  • Working within key National Service Frameworks to enhance the provision of healthcare in the custodial setting
  • Liaising with HR and lead on issues relating to staff employment, induction, retention, performance, appraisal, discipline and grievances
  • Supporting the management of resource levels to ensure sufficient and qualified staff meet operational requirements at all times within set budgets
  • Managing the regions recording of data and monitor the quality of service delivery
  • Developing and monitoring audit systems for working practices in conjunction with the Contract
  • Supporting and training police and custody staff as required
  • Reporting and managing any instances of unsafe or inappropriate working practices
  • Being accountable for ensuring your regional area meets a controlled drugs licence
  • Any other duties as required

To apply for this role you will need:

  • To be a registered Senior Clinician (RGN/RMN/SRP)
  • At least 5 years post registration experience in a relevant speciality or management experience in a similar sector
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a senior manager, preferably at a Regional Level
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a custodial environment
  • Training and or/experience in conducting investigation and disciplinary hearings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous line management experience
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
