We are currently working in partnership with our client who is the UKs largest independent commercial vehicle service organisation. Our client is looking to recruit professional, enthusiastic and driven individuals to join their vibrant and growing team at their Ashton Depot.

The role of the site Co Ordinator

To coordinate all site based activities and site based engineering processes and requirements, including health and safety, and to support the complex case and warranty team in delivering excellent customer service.

Essential job functions of the site Co Ordinator

  • To ensure all jobs are completed accurately on electronic system fully utilising all existing & new technology.

  • In collaboration with other colleagues, ensure a safe working environment is maintained and ensure compliance with health and safety policy and procedures

  • Maintain good working relationships with local suppliers to promote value for money and long term mutually beneficial partnerships

  • Ensure compliance with ISO9001 quality standards and TK PTE accreditation

  • Manage on site resources, including the workshop and parts stores to balance competing requirements between different business streams and to ensure equipment and facilities are maintained to an appropriate standard

  • Be the point of contact with site landlords and managers and MFS colleagues in the case of MFS working from customer or partner sites.

  • Complete depot based inspections [i.e. workshop inspection], carry out fire drill/test and supervise/carry out fork truck inspections

  • Responsible for site security and access.

  • Responsible for scheduling all vehicle movements on site

  • To assist the customer service team when required to ensure excellent customer experience’s at all times

  • To assist engineers and parts colleagues in completing customer orders to agreed times, specifications and costs

Desirable skills/experience:

  • NVQ level qualification

  • Electrical qualifications/certification would be an advantage

  • Mechanical/Engineering certification would be an advantage

  • Track record of interacting and communication with customers at all levels

  • Relevant experience of service, repair & breakdown of Thermo King equipment

Skills/Experience Required

  • Kerridge working knowledge

  • Warranty process experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience in customer services related role

  • At least 2 years site coordination experience, including responsibility for facilities, communication, and H&S

  • Knowledge of site engineering processes, including PPE, vans, tools, parts

  • Computer literate to an adequate standard in Microsoft applications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Basic Mathematics & English

  • To work on own initiative/unsupervised
