Regional Business Manager

An opportunity has arisen within the established sales team to manage two different areas one role will cover West Midlands and the other South West UK area covering approximately 100 independent Car retailers who retail several SVT brands and offer other aftermarket products such as alarms and in car audio. This is an exciting time to join the team on the back of a very successful 2017 as we are launching new products into new market sectors.

You’ll need to be a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills that enable you to quickly build productive relationships throughout the Retailer networks, with a keen eye for detail and technical understanding of our products, systems and services.

  • Develop and manage and maintain business levels from a network of Automotive retailers and new channels to market (caravan and motorcycle)
  • Motivate and train individual sales personnel within each outlet
  • Attend promotional events and implement promotional events as and when required with each/all clients
  • Achievement of sales targets for hardware and subscriptions


  • Accurate, literate, numerate and flexible
  • Tenacious and persuasive with strong integrity
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Organised, professional and motivated
  • Proven ability to work using initiative and being part of a team
  • Ability to negotiate at all levels including Senior Management
  • Proven track record in account management
  • Ability to recognise and close a sales opportunity
  • Experience in the automotive industry, as a supplier or within a dealership sales role
  • Achievement of pre-agreed targets
  • Full driving license with less than 3 points
