Key Account Manager, Height Safety Products, £40,000 Basic, £48,000 OTE + Car + 7% pension contributions. Global manufacturer of height safety products requires an experienced account manager to look after a portfolio of trade accounts which are specialist safety distributors, tool distributors and height safety consultants. The products are high quality and high end from a price perspective.
The role is 95% account management and account development role introducing new products, training trade distributor staff and supporting distributors from a technical and commercial perspective to win larger projects. A high emphasis of the position is managing and motivating the distributors to sell your products over the competition together with providing manufacturer's support to the distributor's sales reps out 'in the field'.
Applications are welcomed from candidates working for manufacturers that have managed safety or tool distributors at a regional level and now looking for more of a major accounts or national accounts role.
Ideally, your experience will have been gained within safety equipment or safety products, such as fall protection, PPE, SCBA, respiratory protection, breathing apparatus, harnesses, head protection, protective clothing, fall arrest systems or facility equipment. Applications will also be considered from Account Managers working for Tool manufacturers, or similar, that sell products to trade distributors.
This is a field-based role covering the whole of the South of England with the ideal living location being around the periphery of the M25 from Northamptonshire down to Surrey and Sussex including London.
