An opportunity to join a leading provider of foodservice solutions who have over 50,000 products that supply all areas of the foodservice industry. These include restaurants, hotels, bars, hospitals, care homes, businesses, stadia and education facilities such as schools, colleges and universities. The business generated £2 billion turnover last year, employs over 3,000 people and has over 20 regional distribution centres throughout the UK.

They are recruiting for a Regional Account Manager to take on the management responsibility for a portfolio of key accounts across the region.

The main purpose of a Regional Account Manager is to manage and develop key clients enhancing critical relationships with universities, NHS Trusts, hotel chains, major pub groups and care home groups. Managing a portfolio of circa £5 million the Regional Account Manager will work closely with buying groups and consortia associated with these major clients in order to facilitate their client's growth and profitability for the business.

This role is field based covering South Wales.

They are ideally looking for a dynamic and passionate sales professional who has strong commercial awareness with a customer-centric ethos to drive service excellence, growth and profit.

An ideal Regional Account Manager would have the following experience:

  • Previously worked within the food, drink or foodservice industry
  • 3 years + field sales
  • Proven experience of developing key account relationships demonstrating growth and profit

On offer is a basic salary of £36,000 with a £12,000 OTE uncapped, company car, laptop, mobile, private medical insurance, matching contribution pension scheme, flexible benefits i.e. buy additional annual leave, healthcare cash plan, childcare vouchers, personal accident scheme, employee discounts.
