Regeneration and Decant Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regeneration and Decant Officer to join a busy London Housing Association and Developer to help drive a major ongoing Regeneration scheme in West London. This rare opportunity is a 12 month FTC, with an option to extend for another 12 months. The role is based in W3, and is paying a competitive annual salary of £33,000 - £37650 dependant on experience.

Client Details

Our client is looking to recruit a Regeneration and Decant Officer for an initial 12 month fixed term contract (with possible extension of a further 12 months).

The successful candidate will be actively involved with the regeneration of West London and will help to deliver high-quality housing and reconnect the estate to the wider neighbourhood. The successful post holder will be part of a dynamic team delivering the regeneration strategy within West London.

Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for informing, consulting and engaging local residents and leaseholders through verbal and written communication. You will have a proven track record in project management or supporting the delivery of a regeneration scheme in a Local Authority, Registered Social Provider (RSL) or organisation with a similar focus.

The post holder will work with a wide range of internal and external partners and stakeholders throughout the planning and on-site process. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships, able to manage and prioritise work loads and an excellent communicator with the ability to positively influence key decision makers.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have experience in re-housing secure and non secure tenants and negotiating the purchase of leaseholder properties on regeneration schemes and of Compulsory Purchase Orders. The post holder will be able to work to project deadlines and achieve vacant possession whilst ensuring vulnerable households are supported through the re-housing process.
