Recruitment & Training Manager

Based Reading with 2 days a week in Slough

£50-£55K plus car allowance, bonus and package

Our client a major logistics business are looking for a Recruitment & Training Manager. This is a great role and requires a good knowledge of both Recruitment and Training.

Reporting to the HR Director this role key focus is:

  • Managing all aspects of Recruitment with a team of 2 in recruitment
  • Manage the process end to end
  • Manage advertising via job boards
  • Social Media Platforms
  • PSL
  • Manage all aspects of Training
  • Managing the Apprentice Levy scheme
  • Setting the scheme and delivering
  • Define required outcomes/evaluation methods in partnership with all key stakeholders
  • Develop budget proposals and implement control/reporting processes
  • Prioritising solutions in a low margin, budget sensitive environment
  • Implementing the HR system and LMS

Experience, Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven track record across recruitment and training
  • Experience of recruiting a variety of functions
  • Experience in a commercial environment
  • Employment Legislation
  • SLA’s
  • Knowledge of modern Learning & Development practice
  • Knowledge of behavioural-based interview techniques

Ideally with a relevant degree or qualification, you will have experience of working in a very fast paced and ever-changing environment. You may be working currently in Logistics. FMCG, Retail, travel or other fast paced business.
