Our client is a market leader in the world of standards with a global reputation. The is a key role within the UK Recruitment team, as the recruitment consultant you’ll liaise with the business to ensure your business areas have the right resource, in the right place, at the right time.
You’ll be responsible for attracting, sourcing and recruiting high calibre individuals through the provision of a proactive, efficient, professional and cost effective end-to-end recruitment service.
You’ll be advertising roles, sourcing candidates through the company database, via social media including LinkedIn, headhunting, referrals, external adverts, and PSL recruitment agencies. Understanding your business area’s strategic vision and the external market, you’ll build and manage talent pipelines to ensure a pipeline of strong candidates are readily available.
Key to the success in direct sourcing where possible is the employer brand and social responsibility; you’ll identify opportunities for promoting a career through attendance at industry events, open days, careers fairs and building partnerships with local FE establishments.
Success will be demonstrated through:
Delivery against time to hire and cost per hire KPI's
Improvement in quality of hire and reduction in attrition
Increasing the effectiveness of hire and reduction of inefficiencies
Promotion of a positive candidate experience
You will support the team of Recruitment Partners and pro-active approach of candidates not currently actively looking. You will be familiar with all traditional and digital recruitment methods and the utilisation of Linkedin etc to develop networks and recruit talent.
You’ll have previous experience of working within a similar role in either an in-house or agency based role, ideally this experience will have been gained within a commercial/professional services environment and/or working on specialist roles.
Demonstrable experience of effectively resourcing top talent along with experience of sourcing candidates through a variety of channels is essential in this role, and the ability to work creatively and proactively to tap into the passive candidate market would be desirable.
As an effective influencer and communicator, you will be able to build strong networks and relationships both within and outside of the business.
