Our e.surv brand is one of the country's largest providers of residential property risk expertise and surveying services. To put it into numbers, we complete one mortgage valuation every twenty-five seconds. e.surv have also become a technology leader within the industry, following the introduction of iPad onsite reporting technology which means we are an employer of choice amongst Residential Surveyors.
We are now looking to grow our in-house Recruitment team, with the addition of a specialist resourcer who will closely support the Recruitment Manager in pro-actively resourcing a mix of Head office and Niche Surveying roles UK wide.
It is essential that candidates can demonstrate experience of working in either an in-house recruitment function or recruitment agency and be comfortable working within a target driven environment. Previous experience of working within a high-pressure role, meeting deadlines and being able to act quickly and decisively is paramount. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels, with an energetic, resourceful and pro-active nature. Applicants should be ambitious with a competitive streak and results driven outlook, the successful candidate will be a key player within our small, innovative, successful and highly motivated internal recruitment team.
This role "WILL NOT" be an easy ride, it will entail hard work, going above and beyond on a daily basis, travelling to conduct recruitment assessments, overnight stays and working on occasion from our NN16 Head Office. If you are successful, you will be required to deputise for the Recruitment Manager in conducting recruitment events, exhibiting alongside our industry competitors, being an industy expert to provide advice at all career levels and promoting the Recruitment Teams "advice for all" approach.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- To pro-actively generate a talent pool of skilled individuals relevant for the needs of the business.
- Use innovative search tools and methodologies, in order to locate candidates for relevant positions.
- Forge excellent relationships with potential candidates ensuring they are communicated with on a regular basis throughout the entire recruitment process.
- To filter applications, review CVs, vet candidates, pre-screen and assess their skills, before you recommend them for formal interview.
- To forge and maintain close working relationships with Branch Managers, understanding individual recruitment requirements.
- To achieve targets and KPI’s in line with agreed SLAs.
- Take ownership and be responsible for ad-hoc project work as required.
As with any recruitment role, you will need excellent communication skills, you should be able to quickly build strong relationships internally and with the wider Surveying population. You will be a team player, with a will to achieve success in your role and keen to develop as an expert within your industry.
This role is part of a small multi-site team and as such, there will be a need to travel between Nottingham, Kettering and on occasion Newcastle to develop relationships and attend meetings - mileage covered.
