Recruitment Resourcer - Job Specification

Candidate Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing new candidates through job boards, referrals and social media tools (LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter)
  • Creating attractive job descriptions and advertising vacancies
  • Screen candidates on the phone against client requirements and invite to face to face interview
  • Interview candidates face to face using agreed methods (biographical review of CV, competency based questions) and carry out agreed testing
  • Offer candidates assignments (ongoing, weekly or daily) by confirming verbally - ie face to face or telephone. Maintaining contact with registered and on-assignment candidates on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Proactively liaising with clients to schedule candidate inductions
  • Being your candidates’ point of contact for any queries or concerns, to ensure they feel supported and have all queries acknowledged and satisfied in a timely manner
  • Having a real time understanding and management of availability specific for clients

Client Responsibilities:

  • Proactive communication with clients (sometimes multiple end users within the client) to understand short and medium term labour requirements
  • Working to agreed service level standards around processes, timescales and expectations
  • Proactively liaising with clients to schedule candidate inductions
  • Completing onsite and telephone check-ins as per the agreed frequency (daily or weekly)
  • Proactively liaising with clients’ end users for feedback on candidates, and nullifying any early or ongoing concerns
  • Provide support outside of own client’s responsibilities to fellow colleagues as and when required to ensure both individual and team KPIs are achieved

Administration Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that all candidates have the required documentation as per Home Office legislation, client specific and internal expectations
  • Following internal processes for the touch points through a candidates journey when on assignment;

o Setting up new starters

o Email confirmation of assignment

o Processing timesheets

o Monitoring and adhering to AWR

o Processing holiday requests

o Completing end of assignment documents and processes

  • Obtain candidate references or security checks where applicable
  • Passing on market intelligence to the team - who’s recruiting, who’s making redundancies etc.
  • Understand and complete management information that underpins adherence to SLAs and drive continuous improvements
