We're looking for someone to join the OMW Recruitment team.

The role will support the direct hire recruitment model and will work alongside the team of recruiters focusing on sourcing vacancies across the Old Mutual Wealth (OMW) business areas. Using social media and other platforms the role will require engagement with active and passive candidates to bring talent in to the business.

Key Responsibilities and Scope of role: The role involves using a range of recruitment tools including CV mining, job boards, advertising, referrals and social media, to source and attract the best candidates for the job. You'll carry out thorough telephone interviews, gain interest and support candidates throughout the application process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Attending face to face role briefings with the hiring managers (with a member of the recruitment team) to ensure you have a comprehensive understanding of the vacancies
  • Proactively sourcing of permanent and fixed term contract roles across areas such as Finance, Technology, Digital, Marketing, Risk, Customer Services
  • Engaging with active and passive candidates, conveying our values and culture and promoting OMW as an employer of choice
  • Ensuring an excellent candidate journey during the application and recruitment process
  • Hold telephone interviews with candidates using competency and culture based questions
  • Create an understanding of candidates' career goals and key drivers for their next role
  • Creating new vacancies on-Grasp (ATS)
  • General recruitment administration support to the recruitment team

Qualifications required:
Recruitment Qualification (Desirable but not essential)

Experience required:

  • Confident with Boolean searching and experienced with using a variety of search tools such as advertising, LinkedIn recruiter, CV searching, social media, referrals and ATS systems / databases to source active and passive candidates
  • Confident with CV and telephone screening
  • Experience with working in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience with Applicant Tracking Systems such as I-Grasp would be advantageous but not essential as you will receive full training
  • Recruitment and resourcing experience either in-house or agency
  • Ability to build relationships with candidates is essential, as is being able to manage concurrent campaigns and sourcing activities, whist juggling changing priorities
  • Recruitment best practice experience including compliance such as 'Right to Work
  • An effective networker with a passion for the candidate experience and service delivery
