Resource On Demand are looking for a bunch of Recruitment Resourcers to join our growing team!
We are a buzzy, close knit team of passionate Recruiters, Resourcers and Researchers based in offices smack-bang in the middle of Dartford town centre. We are looking for people with big personalities who want to get into Recruitment, but would prefer to be based in Dartford while still having the opportunity to do well, achieve, progress and succeed without necessarily needing a degree level education or to sit on a sweaty train for 2 and half hours a day.

Cloud technology is the future of IT. At Resource On Demand we were the first Recruitment company in Europe to solely specialise in recruiting for this exciting fast growth industry.
We started in 2009, but we still very much see ourselves in start-up mode with an all hands on deck approach. We have a fairly informal working environment, very collaborative, huge brand advocates and some household name companies that it’s a real pleasure to call our customers.
About the Job:
As a Trainee Recruiter / Resourcer at Resource On Demand you will be responsible for speaking to hundreds of potential job seekers within our niche industries per week. You will work closely with experienced Recruiters to find great talent for our clients. You’ll call through people on our database, find new people via social media and start to build a great reputation for yourself within your niche field. Pretty simple really.
You do just that and we will pay Resourcer level commission on top of your base salary. Provide you with a clear pathway to become a Consultant, access to an online savings and discount portal, team social events and as much tea and coffee as you can drink.

We are a well-respected and well connected company within our niche markets, which is nice. You will be expected to use your charm, sales skills, persistence and general brilliance to turn people into clients that want us to recruit for them, or candidates that want us to help them find a new role.
Sounds great, right? Well, let’s be honest. Recruitment can be a tough industry that isn’t for everyone. Despite the distractions of technology this is still a phone based role. You will be making around 50-100 calls per day and there will be some days when all you feel you are doing is leaving voicemails or being told "No", which is why you need a thick skin and a positive attitude.
Your job will be based on the phone, in the offices in Dartford. As you progress to Consultant level and beyond there will eventually be the occasional travel to events, expos and of course meeting customers face-to-face.
About the Team:
We all have individual KPI’s and work together to hit a weekly "go home early on Friday" target, which, if achieved usually means a drink in one of Dartford’s many fine establishments afterwards. And we are a fairly close bunch. To fit in with us, you’ll be sociable, hardworking, professional but don’t take yourself too seriously. You are allowed to be a bit odd, but at your core you are a good egg.
