The Role / Client

Our client is an iconic collection of restaurants, bars and venues, who are committed to delivering a luxurious experience through its inspiring settings, exceptionally high standard of product and engaging service.

This is a great opportunity for you to set up a central recruitment function for them and improve how they attract, recruit and select talent. In this role, you will be directly sourcing and managing the end to end recruitment of support office roles, supporting the venues by identifying opportunities to drive the recruitment brand and building talent pools of key job families.

Responsibilities include

  • Manage the end to end hiring process for senior hires and support office roles through direct sourcing
  • Recommend and deliver a plan to build the employment brand through events, job fairs and social media to drive increase direct applications and reduce reliance on agencies
  • Utilise all appropriate methods to locate and identify the right candidates
  • Identify new ways to attract, recruit and select talent
  • Introduce a new applicant tracking system to the organisation
  • Improve and maintain the recruitment website
  • Ensure recruitment processes, material and communication support and enhance the candidate experience and employer brand
  • Proactively build effective talent pools for key job families to add value to the management community within our venues
  • Influence and introduce enhanced selection techniques for improved selection decisions
  • Work with the wider People team and the business to build a candidate experience that represents the brands values
  • Provide regular metrics in hiring as part of the overall people plan to demonstrate added value and reduced agency spend
  • Support other avenues of recruitment, including Graduate and apprenticeship schemes

Experience & Skills Required

  • Proven experience of direct sourcing
  • Experience of managing a varied workload and handling volume roles
  • Experience in running targeted recruitment events
  • Creativity and driven to identify and deliver improvements in how we currently attract, recruit and select talent
  • You’ll love variety - from leading campaigns to attract and recruit chefs, event staff, front of house to direct sourcing of senior hires and support office roles
  • A true networker and ambassador for the brand externally and internally you’ll be able to build relationships quickly to partner with our hiring managers
  • Ideas, passion, a value-add ethos and an ability to influence change and work with diverse stakeholders
  • A great communicator with an eye for detail and a discipline in reporting and metrics
  • Experience from the hospitality sector is advantageous, particularly if you have experience of recruiting chefs and events staff as well as senior roles
