Recruitment Manager - Top Global Firm

Role Summary

The Recruitment Manager will be supporting Associate and Business Services recruiting and is responsible for sourcing candidates internally and externally, as well as managing all direct applicants from our direct advertising. They will be expected to manage feedback to each candidate in a professional and timely manner. They are also responsible for the coordination of the recruitment process for internal mobility candidates and employee referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Process Management:

  • Assess recruitment needs and perform necessary analysis and job creation activities
  • Instruct the Recruitment Services team to ensure vacancies are published internally and externally in a timely manner
  • Work closely with HR Managers and Advisors on internal role approval and sign-off processes
  • Management of candidate attraction, selection and assessment
  • Build, develop and maintain in-house candidate database and workflow products e.g. candidate/job tracking spreadsheet
  • Oversee all recruitment administration tasks undertaken by the Recruitment Services team and help to manage the onboarding process
  • Manage offer process
  • Regular data analysis and provide full MI on recruitment activity to Global Recruitment Director
  • Identify areas that require improvement and designing solutions which suit the firm’s business needs

Client Relationship management:

  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships and agency relationships
  • Provide credible and consultative advice and support to clients during the entire recruitment lifecycle
  • Liaise with all levels of management to develop and maintain recruitment plans and organizational structures
  • Facilitate communication channels between Line Management, vendors and Recruitment team
  • Providing regular market information from both internal and external sources
  • With assistance from the Procurement team, review the performance of agents on the Preferred Supplier List (PSL) and makes recommendations as necessary

Process and Procedure:

  • Ability to develop and deliver recruitment strategies and ideas
  • Implement simple, effective and trackable resourcing, record keeping and administration processes. Ensure ATS is accurate and up to date at all times
  • Be adept at producing and developing regular and meaningful MI reporting
  • Ability to deal with visa management

Skills & Experience

  • Proven in-house and/or agency recruitment experience with a good knowledge of the legal market place
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Global mindset, experience working in a global organization a plus
  • High level of emotional intelligence; able to navigate a professional services partnership with stakeholders at all levels
  • Persuasive and able to manage multiple constituencies and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment to achieve a way forward
  • Proven project management skills
  • Client service oriented
  • Open minded with the ability to listen to and coach others
  • Solid communication and relationship management skills; client facing and credible; strong negotiation skills; ability to develop internal and external relationships; ability to manage diverse stakeholders and to build networks quickly
