RECRUITMENT / HR SUPPORT MANAGER - NATIONWIDE LUXURY RETAILER

My client is a very successful Kitcehn designer and sales. Each design can be customised and personalised to their clients’ exact needs and tastes. A well established and growing company, with over 30 showrooms across the UK and plans to open more.

The Role:

As the Recruitment and HR Support Manager you will be responsible for working with hiring Managers and Directors to understand their people agenda and hiring needs as well as providing HR Support to all.

You will be responsible for:

  • Taking ownership of the full recruitment process to deliver an efficient and effective service to Hiring Managers
  • Support Hiring Managers in identifying their recruitment needs
  • Taking a proactive approach to developing and utilising direct sourcing routes to increase efficiency and drive down cost
  • Producing effective and enticing job ads to promote candidate attraction
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment suppliers as a single point of contact (including negotiating terms)
  • Develop a range of selection techniques to ensure that the most suitable candidates are selected
  • Managing the psychometric assessment process
  • Conduct telephone screening interviews to ensure all candidates interviewing with Hiring Managers are qualified and appropriate
  • Advise and coach recruiting managers on recruitment process and best practice as necessary
  • Advise and support candidates through the recruitment, selection and pre-employment processes as required
  • Regularly review the recruitment process for improvements and to ensure they are fit for purpose
  • Ensure candidate and employee information is handled confidentially
  • Conduct ad hoc recruitment projects
  • Collating, interpreting and reporting on Recruitment data to the Board of Directors on a monthly basis
  • Coordinating induction activities
  • Providing HR support to all members of staff on the following HR processes; starters, leavers, movers, maternity, long term sick, contracts of employment and starter packs, bonus confirmation and salary review letters
  • Managing the online absence reporting portal
  • Overseeing employee engagement initiatives

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Strong recruitment knowledge and experience gained within a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in drafting job descriptions and screening CVs
  • Experience planning and conducting telephone and face to face interviews
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of stakeholder management and negotiating
  • Strong administration and organisation skills
  • Previous experience working to targets
  • Excellent IT literacy skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience of using an ATS and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Must have previous experience of reducing overall agency spend
