My name is Christine and I am the Senior Business Manager for Reed Business Support in Stratford, which I'm very proud to say I manage one of the top temporaries desks in London. I have had the pleasure of working for Reed for the last over 30 years and have seen considerable personal success during that period. Now as a result of the demands of the business we are looking for some special people to join our team.

We cover a variety of recruitment disciplines and I'm looking for talent for the following divisions i.e. Business Support.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment Consultant to join a lively and successful team at Stratford. The role is to work on a Temporaries Desk dealing with office support roles for temporary and temporary to permanent opportunities. The ideal candidate need not have previous recruitment experience, it's more about what type of person you are that interests me and how you view your working life.

The principle duties for this role is Business Development and building relationships with clients and candidates:

You will be required to develop business opportunities through targeted calls, attending sales meetings, sales presentations, organisational visits and networking events, winning new business through adopting innovative and creative approaches to selling REED that makes us stand out from the competitors.

Growing business by exploring potential opportunities and selling temporary/interim solutions within the existing client portfolio.

Creating business opportunities through proactive marketing of candidates including “spec calls”.

Attending client meetings to service existing business and seek new business.
Fostering and developing close working relationships with clients to identify their current and future business needs.

Seeking to fully understand the requirements of clients’ roles to maximise success ratios when putting candidates forward for the position.

Demonstrating the necessary understanding of the recruitment processes and time scales to successfully manage client expectations.

Understanding the processes, procedures and requirements of the clients’ internal recruitment systems.

Delivering a world-class service that exceeds the expectations of the client.

Searching/sourcing for candidates via direct advertising, job boards, social media and referrals. Matching candidates to assignments. Ensuring compliance procedures and checks meet the required criteria as set down by the business.

I am looking for an enthusiastic individuals who are self-starters and self- motivated. You must be a team player who is able to collaborate with people internally and externally.

I need someone who is resilient, creative, wants to succeed, excellent communication skills both written and verbal, self- motivated, willing to learn and is influential.

Salary base plus uncapped bonus
