Recruitment Consultant

As the new Recruitment Consultant, you will be joining an excellent, dynamic, well established and dedicated fun team who specialise in resourcing and placing quality candidates within the Education and Social Care Sector.

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for -

  • Calling new and existing clients to generate more business.
  • Sourcing quality candidates for live vacancies across the UK.

  • Being highly proactive by utilising available resources such as Total Jobs, Reed, CV Library, Indeed, Monster, LinkedIn etc.

  • Updating and maintaining inhouse system at all times

  • CV reformatting / re-writing and profile writing with ability in identifying key strengths, qualifications and experience for shortlisted candidates

  • Advertising vacancies on Total Jobs, Reed, CV Library, Indeed, Monster

  • Pre-screening candidates over the telephone and face to face ensuring you provide a good level of vacancy briefing to gage interest

  • Undertaking candidate compliance checks such as Right to Work, proof of ID/Address, reference checks.

  • Consistently having a proactive approach in attracting quality candidates in the market

  • Ability to gain interest from candidates by promoting the vacancy, benefits package and promoting the culture of our clients to candidates.

  • Having a consultative approach and being the main point of contact for candidates

Essential requirements for a Recruitment Consultant;

  • Strong attention to detail with great communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, on own initiative as well as within a team.

  • Excellent level of IT, administrative and organisational skills as a Recruitment Resourcer

  • Strong ability in understanding requirements for the purpose of sourcing quality candidates

  • Ability to deliver results and hit targets.

Desired skills (not essential);

  • Experience within the Education sector as a Recruitment Resourcer within a recruitment agency.

  • Good level of knowledge within the Education and Social Care sector in providing staffing solutions.

Working hours Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm.
