The role of a Temporaries recruitment consultant is a SALES role.
The desk on offer covers a start up desk for Accountants within the Property and Construction markets, as well as the opportunity to look after a number of warm clients in the future.
This desk covers clients across the whole of Central London.
As well as sales the role also involves the following.
Making sales calls to active, prospective and target clients
Building relationships with clients, candidates and colleagues
Negotiating with clients
Resourcing for job vacancies
Meeting with clients
Writing job specifications
Spotting opportunities for short, medium and long term wins.
Maintaining a high quality database which allows you to quickly and actively seek out business
Ideally I would like consultants with recruitment experience or you will have at least worked in a 360 sales role previously.
To succeed in recruitment you certainly need sales ability, tenacity, a strong work ethic and the drive to succeed. You should be able to deliver professional and credible verbal and written communication to both candidates and clients.
It would also suit a graduate with a hunger to succeed and a drive to earn money.
It is a rewarding and fast paced environment, you need to be driven to consistently exceed KPI targets. Most of the role of a consultant is talking on the phone, you need confidence with the ability to listen and deliver a high quality service to candidates and clients.
