Berry Recruitment are seeking passionate, dedicated and conscientious individuals to join their team as a Recruitment Consultant/Sourcing Consultant supporting both the Temporaries and Permanent Division.
The ideal candidate will be an avid team player with strong customer service skills and possess a "can do" positive attitude with the ability to identify and prioritise busy workloads to effectively maintain an efficient working day.

Core Responsibilities of the Recruitment Consultant:
*Regularly canvass companies to gain new business in order to build and maintain a profitable desk.
*Identify new prospects through a variety of methods to successfully sell the benefits of our services.
*Attend sales meetings to build working relationships with the clients.
*Maximise business opportunities with existing clients i.e. across all departments and skill categories and cross sell for other branches where possible.
*Negotiate competitive rates with clients whilst maintaining acceptable margins.
*Maintain regular contact with key accounts and ensure continued custom on an ongoing basis, review the standards and contents of service provided to clients and effect continuous improvement.
*Source vacancies through regular canvassing of existing clients, new prospects, newspaper advertisements, personal contacts, etc.in accordance with the KPI's set by your line manager.
*Key selling candidates to prospective/active clients.
*Conduct thorough applicant interviews and undertake appropriate background and eligibility checks and relevant skills tests.
*Clearly understand the clients' requirements and propose/supply only those candidates that meet those requirements.
*Prepare C.V's and candidate profiles.
*Conduct candidate pre-interview briefing.
*Assist in any negotiations over salary and benefit packages.
*Follow-up successful candidate introductions.
*Complete a full registration of the candidate to company standards, including completing eligibility and background checks and reference applicants in accordance with Company procedures (Preventing Illegal Working Policy )
*Provide an effective and prompt response to client inquiries.
*Accurately process weekly timesheets and booking sheets, new employees, new clients, placements etc. to strict deadline.
*Adhere to all statutory and good practice requirements e.g. Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC), Equal Opportunities, Working Time Regulations, Agency Worker Regulations, REC code of practice etc.
