Recruitment Consultant - Finance

A long established and well regarded Specialist Agency are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Consultant to join an already established award winning Permanent team. You will be one of two consultants who will head up the Permanent desk specialising in Finance roles. We are looking for someone who is engaging, driven, hungry for success and enjoys selling! You will build your own client base and be responsible for managing your own desk in addition to building client/candidate relationships, achieving KPI's and working as part of a successful team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build up existing client base by attending meetings and professional networking events
  • Actively seek any leads and chase up and potential business, whilst identifying relevant contacts in order to grow business
  • Retrieve job vacancy information such as description, salary and conditions of employment
  • Manage your database of clients through regular contact and the recording of accurate information on the CRM system
  • Develop client relationships through targeted sales activity, maintaining excellent customer service to ensure repeat business whilst developing new business
  • Manage vacancies and match relevant candidates whilst maximising a prompt and efficient service to the client
  • Attract high calibre candidates through advertising, recommendations and various networking methods
  • Manage your database of candidates through regular contact and the recording of accurate information on the CRM system
  • Respect and promote the brand and maintain its reputation within the industry, in line with company strategy
  • Undertaking negotiations on terms and conditions of employment for candidates with prospective employers whilst maximising revenue potential
  • Understand and negotiate business terms of business to maximise revenue and opportunity
  • Be able to analyse own business and market and make recommendations for growth
  • Keeps up to date with competitor information and market trends

Skills Required:

  • A background within a sales, retail or a recruitment environment is beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work using own initiative and have good attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills, ability to think of logical solutions and solve matters with professional diplomacy
  • Ability to work productively in a high pressured environment and maintains a positive outlook at work
