Recruitment Co-ordinator (six months fixed term)

Overview: We are a small and expanding HR team in a business that is also growing and evolving fast. It is an exciting place to be and we are well positioned through our strong relationships with the business to achieve great things.

We are looking for a Recruitment Co-ordinator to join us immediately for up to six months to assist in the provision of an efficient, first class recruitment service within our wider HR team to help enable our business to achieve our ambitious growth plans.

We are looking for someone who has the energy and passion to build effective relationships within our HR team as well as with our managers and employees. We like to collaborate, so as a strong team player, you will be able to demonstrate your team working ability and how you’ve worked closely across a wider HR team.

Core activities will involve, but not be limited to:

Recruitment and offer administration:

  • Work with the HR team to ensure that the Job Requisitions are accurately recorded and filed for auditing purposes

  • Review recruitment materials to be used for each vacancy to ensure they are fit for purpose

  • Design and write internal and external job adverts

  • Upload job adverts to various job boards and media, collate applications and forward to relevant hiring managers

  • Use innovative and cost effective ways to advertise vacancies via internal and external channels and assess various recruitment methods and select the most appropriate routes to market for each role

  • Liaise with external suppliers where required

  • Monitor the HR careers inbox and acknowledge all applications in a timely manner

  • Liaise with hiring managers to ensure all shortlisting is carried out in a consistent and timely manner

  • Ensure all employment contract templates are up to date and capture any new employment legislation

  • Liaise with HR team to ensure all contracts are issued to new employees along with all relevant supporting documentation

  • Actively manage all candidates to ensure they receive timely and constructive feedback at each stage of the process to ensure they receive a positive experience with L3 CTS

  • Collate and file all interview notes and feedback

  • Monitor and action all employee referrals

  • Respond to all recruitment enquiries in a polite and efficient manner

  • Ensure all HR systems and relevant recruitment spreadsheets are up to date

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Qualifications and educational requirement:

  • Ideally graduate calibre or equivalent but could be balanced with relevant experience

  • CIPD qualified or working towards would be beneficial

Skills and experience:

  • A solid understanding of the recruitment lifecycle

  • Demonstrable evidence of meticulous attention to detail and time management

  • Discretion and ability to observe confidentiality

  • A collaborative and flexible approach with evidence of looking for solutions rather than problems

  • Proven organizational and recruitment administrative skills with demonstrable success in managing a variety of tasks and/or activities

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, ideally up to intermediate level

  • Self-motivated, confident and enthusiastic

  • Ability to multi task and work well under pressure with minimal supervision

  • A friendly attitude with a passion for providing excellent customer service

  • The ability to fulfil the driving requirements of the role

Hours: 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday
