Recruitment Business Partner

Location: Hemel Hempstead, Holborn or Winnersh (with travel)

Duration: 7 Months

EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY: Sopra Steria is currently recruiting for a Recruitment Business Partner to take full ownership of the Recruitment & Resourcing activities for a designated business area, driving and delivering strategic talent acquisition aligned with the HR People Strategy to achieve the 2020 vision. You will use your resourcing and recruitment knowledge and experience to contribute to the development of the HR People Strategy and drive the delivery of talent acquisition programmes across their area of responsibility and across the wider organisation. You will be required to lead key resourcing and recruitment activities to ensure best practice and KPI’s and SLA’s are achieved within designated business area(s).

This role can be based in Hemel Hempstead, Holborn or Winnersh (with travel). This contract is for seven months with possible extensions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Working as part of an in house recruitment and resourcing team to provide a cost effective resourcing and recruitment service
  • Develop effective working relationships with business managers, ensuring managers understand all processes
  • Working with the business to build appropriate talent pools for key skills that are essential for the Business strategy
  • In partnership with the HRBP develop plans to support resource requirements and levels (aligned to the set pyramids) and to promote internal moves, and progression of our key talent
  • Working with the Service Delivery Manager to ensure effective resource management for the UK Recruitment Team and India Resourcing team to ensure seamless process for managers and internal and external candidates
  • To manage the end to end resourcing and recruitment process for hires including hiring manager relationships, internal movement, assignment and bench management
  • Providing accurate and regular reporting for internal assignments, allocations and bench management to key stakeholders - Management Team, Hiring Managers and HR
  • Ensuring that there is appropriate HR support for external hires including pre selection and interviewing and HRBP support for Senior Hires
  • Networks across the HR recruitment community to build a partnership relationship sharing consistency in approach, best practice, re-use of initiatives, performance measures and opportunities
  • Drives standardisation and continuous improvement across the business units in order to standardise and simplify HR resourcing recruitment processes

ESSENTIALS SKILLS:

Significant recruitment and or resourcing experience, preferably gained by working in a strategic, operational or in house resourcing or recruitment role

  • Effective stakeholder management
  • Computer literacy - Word, Outlook, Taleo, Excel and Social Media
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, managing own workload and direct reports
  • Proactive, collaborative and ability to work as part of a winning team
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated employment and recruitment legislation knowledge
  • Results focused and actively seeking to measure your own performance and the impact on the business
  • Resilience with the ability to work with ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Interviewing skills - ability to screen and interview to assess fit
  • Should have experience of operating in a large, complex and changing environment
  • Commercially aware and able to contribute credibly within business teams
  • Strong communication and consulting skills, in particular, relationship building, influencing & negotiating and stakeholder management
  • Experienced in delivering assignments, projects and deliverables to time and budget
  • Ability to manage and deliver through virtual and/or project team
  • Ability to effectively manage issues with high ambiguity and complexity
