An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our wider Corporate Recruitment Team.
Reporting to the Recruitment Manager based in our Head Office in Watford, you will coach, support and advise line managers on best practice recruitment and selection methods, working collaboratively to ensure we only recruit candidates of the highest calibre to meet the requirements of the business.
You will manage vacancies and ad-hoc projects within the Northern Region working alongside the Corporate Recruitment Team in Watford.
You must be able to manage your own workload and conflicting priorities, have the ability to work on multiple projects at any one time with limited supervision and have a good attention to detail.
We are looking for candidates that have previous experience working in a recruitment team or generalist HR role with an understanding of recruitment assessment centres.
If you have great customer service and relationship building skills with a 'can do’ attitude and can work at pace in a changing environment then we want to hear from you.
The primary responsibilities of this role are:
- To provide an efficient and effective recruitment administrative service agreeing and managing deadlines to meet recruitment demands.
- To produce recruitment project plans on new roles ensuring achievable targets are agreed and met
- To be creative with advertising platforms to increase attraction rates
- Participate with shortlisting vacancies and form part of selection panel and arrange interviews
- To liaise with applicants to ensure all pre- employment checks are carried out in a timely manner meeting internal KPI’s and time to hire.
Please note, as part of the induction process, the successful applicant will be required to spend some time at our Watford Office for training. Hotel and travel expenses will be covered by NHS Professionals for these periods and it is not envisaged that this will be for more than one or two weeks.
