Our leading blue chip financial services client are looking to add Record Management specialists to its Risk Division team.

The Records Management project looks to ensure compliance with Records Management regulation and policy as well as actively drive improvements across technology, business processes and control framework.

Working within the Risk and Data Security team the aim of the programme is to improve customer experience, create value and obtain competitive advantage associated with trust in their brand, the ability to leverage personal information assets in the right way is crucial.

The successful candidate will specialise in Records and Information Management (RIM) with a good understanding of Privacy and Cyber Security RIM issues. An understanding of the Financial Services will also be beneficial to be able to drive delivery of solutions to complex client issues

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Working across all Banking business areas to support the delivery of policy compliance remediation activity.
  • Providing professional Records Management advice and guidance to help drive improvement.
  • Project task management
  • Risk and Issue Management
  • Progress Reporting
  • Stakeholder Management

The Business are looking for a candidate from the following background:

  • Proven experience in a Records Information Management (RIM), and a strong undertaking of privacy and cyber related issues.
  • Proven ability to identify and assess complex risks
  • Experience in and an understanding of the RIM, cyber and privacy risks faced by clients within a specific industry and the impact to their business
  • Strong design and implementation experience of at least one RIM, cyber and privacy management programme
  • Strong knowledge of the core concepts underlying privacy
  • Familiarity with privacy-relevant legislation and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills and report writing skills
  • Ability to develop excellent relationships both internally and with clients
  • Capacity to deliver work within tight timescales to a high quality

This role offers the candidate the chance to work at one of the UK's largest Financial Services Clients on a ground-breaking regulation that impacts all customers and how they interact with companies & technology. It also offers exposure to very senior individuals within the organisations. This is a 6-month initial contract on a role that is likely run for 12 - 18 months.
