My client on the outskirts of Ipswich are looking for a Receptionist to join their team. It is an exciting opportunity to join an established company with a vision of always wanting to improve and develop, offering a professional and friendly service to all of their customers and patients.
Your main responsibility will be to provide excellent service to all patients and visitors during their time at the practice and your duties will include but is not limited to the following:
Complete Excel Spread sheets
Arrange follow up appointments as required and monitor failed appointments
Answer the telephone in a prompt and professional manner
Take payments and keep accurate records of finances
Liaise with the on and off site laboratory
Organise prompt posting of mail
Provide administrative support as required by the Senior Receptionist
Learn the terminology and abbreviations related to the industry.
Due to the nature of the role, you must be empathetic and be a confident communicator that is not fazed by problems or difficult situations, with an ability to think on your feet. You must be willing to work in a fast paced role and thrive from a challenge with a willingness to help. You will be friendly and personable with a professional attitude and be able to prioritise with a high attention to detail and organisation. If you do have a medical background this will be an advantage. You must be confident with IT but training is provided on their in-house system and have a motivated and proactive mind-set.
What’s in it for you?
Salary is £9.30 an hour so £19948 per annum
Full time working days of 8.15am- 5.15pm Monday to Thursday and Friday’s hours are 8.15am-4.15pm.
33 days holiday a year (including bank holidays).
