Do you have good communication and reception skills and are used to dealing with work of a confidential nature with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel packages, customer service and an Diploma Level 2 qualification or equivalent?
An opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist to join the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team in Grantham, based at Beaconfield Resource Centre, Grantham.
CAMHS sits within the Specialist Services Division of the Trust and is delivered from four community based hubs and attached satellite clinics. We offer staff regular management supervision, an annual appraisal and other support will be provided, including additional training to support this role if required.
The post holder will be responsible and provide a comprehensive, professional and confidential reception service working alongside and supporting the administrative and clinical team. It is a demanding busy reception as there are a number of teams that are within the building. As a receptionist, you are the service’s first impression on visitors coming into our building and on the telephone, and it is therefore essential that young people and families are met with a friendly and welcoming manner as well as ensuring keeping the waiting room tidy and updating noticeboards.
The role will also include providing administrative support which could include inputting data onto our clinical system, answering emails, scanning and photocopying, and some typing of reports and letters.
The successful candidate will possess strong communication and organisational skills. They will have a positive and enthusiastic approach with a strong work ethic, be able to use their own initiative and effectively contribute as part of a team.
Previous experience as a health receptionist is desirable but not essential.
The post is for 26.25 hours. We require cover Wednesday to Friday 9am – 5pm and on a Tuesday 1:15pm – 5pm. Flexible working is ideally required as the service offers a late night opening until 20:00 at each hub one day a week which may require cover on a rota basis. In times of need, cover may also be required at our bases across the county.
