We are working with an independent partnership in Glasgow to recruit a Receptionist to complement their existing team
What will I be doing?
General receptionist duties like meeting and greeting all visitors to the office in a friendly and polite manner. You’ll be providing switchboard support, managing meeting room bookings including coordinating set up, IT equipment and catering/refreshments if required. Your excellent organisational skills will be key here.
As the first point of contact you’ll be making sure the main reception area is kept clean and tidy at all times as well as ensuring security by following procedures, monitoring the logbook and directing guests to departments.
At times you may be required to organise taxis for both staff and visitors and manage car parking spaces. Your ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise your workload effectively will be of utmost importance.
Of course strong MS Office skills will be essential as well as the ability to communicate effectively with staff verbally and in writing. You’ll be interacting with employees at all levels of the business so professionalism and confidence are key.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a high calibre organisation, providing of professional service at all times. You will be able to work as part of a team with excellent communication skills, experience of using a switchboard as well as a good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
