Receptionist

As a Front of House Ambassador, you will contribute to the overall exceptional customer experience from the moment a customer arrives. The Receptionist contributes to the first impressions created by customers and therefore must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the reception desk in a professional manner

  • Meet and greet visitors and customers

  • Prepare boardroom and meeting room to a professional standard and organise refreshments and lunches

  • Answer all incoming calls in a timely and professional manner, redirect calls to the correct person and take accurate messages as required

  • Office administration such as filing, copying, typing, scanning, data input etc

  • Manage incoming/outgoing mail

  • Manage stationery stock levels

To successfully fill this role, you should possess the right attitude, behaviour, skills, and values that follow:

  • Previous customer experience gained within in a people-focused environment

  • IT skills including Microsoft Office

  • Competent and accurate typing skills

  • Demonstrate the highest level of customer service at all times

  • Excellent communicator and personable manner

  • Friendly telephone manner

  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

Reporting to the Office Manager/Managing Director you will provide general administration and office support. Excellent opportunity for a school / college leaver.

Salary: £8.75 per hour

Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm

Holidays 28 days per
