Receptionist Location: Whiteley, Fareham

Salary: Competitive plus comprehensive benefits package

Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a professional and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our busy head office in Whiteley.

Working as part of the team at Eight Wealth Management Ltd who are an Appointed Representative and Principal Partner of St. James’s Place Wealth Management Plc.

This business is well established and highly successful. St. James’s Place Wealth Management plc (SJP) is a leading, and highly regarded, FTSE 100 UK Wealth Management company which distributes a range of Investment and Retirement products and financial solutions to a High Net Worth client base. SJP has funds under management in excess of £90bn.

The Role - Receptionist

You will be undertaking a key client facing role for the business. Main duties will include:

  • Control over the switchboard and answering calls to the main office number - directing calls or vetting to ensure goes to the correct people

  • Providing a warm, courteous and professional greeting to clients, ensuring clients are settled in reception or boardroom ready for adviser (with coffee/teas etc) always ensuring clean / tidy area prior to and after meetings.

  • Prepare Reception Timetable along with diary management of the Drivers / Chauffeurs and ensuring diaries are updated daily

  • Accepting daily deliveries of parcels and the morning post to be distributed, along with the prep of evening post to be collected.

  • Arranging deliveries to Whiteley, Marlow and Broadstone twice weekly food shopping (online)

You will also have the opportunity to be involved in helping the Personal Assistants with tasks, including:

  • Submitting client requests for withdrawals for Bonds and ISA’s / chasing to ensure completion / updating clients.

  • Preparation of New Client Packs and requesting information for client meetings such as Wealth Account reports and Investment Summaries

  • Preparation of Sales Stats

Full training will be given.

The Person - Receptionist

We are looking for the following attributes in the successful candidate:

  • Able to demonstrate a professional and organised approach to your role

  • A well-presented, professional and confident manner

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an outgoing personality

  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, Advisors and Staff

  • Excellent time management and planning skills with a good eye for detail

  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word and other Microsoft Programs

It is essential that you can work with total discretion.
