Role overview:
We are seeking a full time Receptionist to join our team at FirstPort. Our team play a vital role in delivering a professional switchboard service as well as greeting visitors.

As a part of a small team of motivated colleagues, you will play a key role in the team and need to be well-organised, a good communicator and enjoy dealing with people on a daily basis. At FirstPort we like to ensure 100% customer satisfaction as well as working closely with other departments to meet the needs of our customers.

What you’ll be doing:
• Answer all calls coming into the switchboard within 3 rings
• Dealing with all incoming post as required
• Franking and collating outgoing post before designated collection time
• Programming and de-activating staff ID fobs
• Meeting and greeting visitors professionally and efficiently
• Dealing with deliveries and organising couriers
• Testing the fire alarm on a weekly basis and keeping an accurate log
• Organising and arranging bookings for meeting rooms
• Allocate daily parking spaces
• Sending/receiving/distributing faxes

Who you’ll be report to:
Head Receptionist

What skills we’re looking for:

• Education to GCSE or equivalent, with A-C passes in Maths and English
• Computer skills including MS office – Outlook and Word
• Be an excellent and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, maintaining and striving for high standards of professionalism
• Be able to work well within a team and individually
• Have a passion for providing an exceptional level of customer service at all times
• Excellent attention to detail
