My client, a prestigious and well-established organisation are currently seeking a well-presented and experienced receptionist to join their team.
Responsibilities will include:
Assist the Head of Department in the smooth and efficient running of reception desk.
Ensuring client and management satisfaction.
Handling of all enquiries and reservations, by phone, correspondence and in-person, from the initial contact to confirmation.
The efficient and optimum handling of room allocations by maximizing sales without overbooking.
Responsible for the correct and timely handling of members' accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction.
To meet and greet guests upon arrival, offering the friendly and efficient welcome.
Assisting with bookings, transport, local information & services etc.
Be responsible for the speedy, welcoming and efficient handling of incoming phone- calls for all departments.
To closely monitor the arrival of visitors.
To fully assist with Administration Office duties as directed by the Office Manager
Consistently provide prompt and welcoming service to visitors by anticipating their requirements.
Attend all training sessions arranged for your department and study all handouts.
To play an active, assigned role in our Emergency Procedures, including Fire Evacuation.
To comply with all company Health & Safety procedures and policies.
Accommodate any reasonable request from management which it feels will improve standards.
Have full confidentiality and not divulge client information.
To be considered you will have/be:
Experience in a front of house position.
A positive, cooperative and pleasant manner.
Ability to develop a strong rapport with customers.
At all times to be immaculately groomed and presented.
Be personable and confident when communicating with customers.
You MUST drive and have your own transport.
Working hours are Mon-Sun, working 5 days a week on a rota basis. Hours are either 7am-3pm or 2pm-10pm.
