An excellent opportunity has come up with our client, a prestigious independent school for a Receptionist to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude, confidence and a desire to work within a school environment.
The Receptionist will have an excellent telephone manner, professional appearance and will be excellent at multitasking. If you would like to work in a school environment as the first point of contact for parents and visitors, whilst providing administrative support and have an enhanced DBS, then this is the ideal position for you!
Receptionist Key Responsibilities:
Handle face-to-face, email and telephone queries quickly and professionally
Act as the initial point of contact for visitors / parents ensuring a welcome and informed arrival
Ensure visitors are signed in correctly
Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming reception area
Handle all correspondence in confidential manner
Provide additional administrative support for the wider team when required
Receptionist Key Skills and Experience:
Minimum of one years’ administration / reception experience
Strong IT skills, in particular the complete Microsoft Office package
A recent enhanced DBS clearance is required
Excellent communication skills to liaise with parents and staff on a day to day basis
