Receptionist Needed For Lovely Basingstoke Firm

My client is a lovely professional services firm with an excellent regional reputation, seeking a receptionist to join their team on a permanent full time basis in Basingstoke town centre. The hours of the role will be 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

The role will include the following responsibilities:

  • First Point of Contact for visitors and telephone enquiries
  • Greeting clients
  • Answering the phone
  • Booking meeting rooms
  • Ensure deliveries are signed for and distributed accordingly
  • Providing refreshments if required
  • Taking on administrative tasks
  • Ensure marketing materials are displayed and tidy
  • Run office opening procedure
  • Assist with opening post
  • Completing paperwork for special and recorded deliveries
  • Arranging couriers
  • Updating library list
  • Audio-typing for all departments when required

The perfect candidate will have the following qualities and experience:

  • Front of House/Receptionist experience
  • Administrative experience
  • Professional in conduct and appearance
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong team player
  • Able to work independently
  • Punctual with an excellent attitude to work
  • Good typing skills
  • Lovely sense of humour
  • Strong MS Office skills
