JOB TYPE: Receptionist

HOURS: 08:30am - 17.30pm | Monday - Friday

SALARY: £20,000 - £24,000 pa.

They offer a lively, creative environment with great people to work with and a busy and varied role.

You must be willing and able to carry out a number of admin tasks whilst managing a busy switchboard and encountering countless interruptions! Experience of a busy reception and a good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel are definite pre-requisites for this role.

They are looking for a highly organised receptionist to bring to life their front of house reception. The successful candidate will be professional, well-presented with excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:

  • Front of house duties
  • Answering the telephones
  • Accurate message taking
  • Booking meetings & managing meeting rooms
  • Booking taxis and couriers
  • Ordering & making refreshments
  • Updating databases
  • Making travel arrangements and hotel bookings
  • Typing (letters and project typing)
  • Keeping front of house clean and tidy
  • Running around doing various errands

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • Candidates must have excellent and accurate typing skills (40 wpm), a professional telephone manner and ideally "switchboard" experience
  • Experience in an architectural practice or design environment is highly desirable
  • Experienced in a busy reception role
  • Professional, well-presented with excellent communication & interpersonal skills
